Planning a house move in Tamworth

Start with your collection and delivery addresses, your preferred moving date and a list of the belongings you want us to move. For a move within Tamworth, tell us about access at both properties, even when the journey between them is short. The time needed depends on the loading and unloading as well as the distance travelled.

If you are moving from a flat, mention the floor, lift access and any booking arrangements for communal entrances. For a house move, tell us about narrow doors, stairs, long driveways and the distance from the vehicle to the front door. Share photos and measurements of large furniture so we can discuss whether dismantling or additional handling is needed.

Packing, furniture and specialist items

You can pack yourself or ask for packing and unpacking support as part of your quotation. Point out fragile belongings and list pianos, antiques or unusually heavy items separately. Our specialist removals team can assess the access and preparation needed. Keep medication, essential documents and the items you need immediately with you.

Storage when moving dates do not match

If you need to leave your Tamworth home before your next property is ready, discuss indoor storage with us. Goods are stored in individual new wooden crates within our warehouse at Units 7–9, Greendale Farm, Burton Road, B79 9DJ. Access and return delivery are arranged with our team.

Questions to ask before booking your removal

How much will my Tamworth move cost? Your quote depends on what needs moving, both addresses, access and the packing or storage you choose. Send your enquiry so we can assess your move and explain the quoted services.

Can you move us out of Tamworth? Yes. We handle local moves and moves to other parts of the UK. Tell us your destination and any delivery restrictions.

What if completion or key collection is uncertain? Explain which dates are confirmed and which are provisional. Contact us promptly if plans change so we can discuss availability and storage options.

For business relocations, see our office moving services. Our wider coverage includes Lichfield, Burton upon Trent and nearby Staffordshire towns and villages.
